This is a very specialized service that is available through Atlantic Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation. Therapists have been certified by the Isernhagen Work Systems Network for the development of Pre-Work Screening (PWS) programs for employers. The PWS involves a detailed evaluation of the work performed. And with this information, a brief assessment is developed that prospective employees can perform to help ensure that the individual has the ability to perform the essential functions and critical demands of the job that is being sought.

Ensuring that the prospective employee has the skills necessary to perform the job can reduce the potential for injury and the associated costs. The PWS can also be utilized when injured workers are returning to work. The PWS can help determine if rehabilitation efforts have been successful in returning the injured employee to a level in which they are able to safely perform their job.
