Sheri Craft Tarte, PT
Sheri was born and raised in Cheraw, SC and a 1996 graduate of The College of Charleston, receiving a BS degree in Exercise Science and Physical Education. She received her Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from The Medical University of South Carolina.
From 1998-2002, Sheri was employed with Atlantic Physical Therapy as an Athletic Trainer and Director of the post-rehab wellness and aquatic programs. Sheri gained valuable experience in sports physical therapy as she was involved in the specialized clinical internship at The Hughston Sports Medicine Clinic in Columbus , GA where she participated in the training and rehab of patients and athletes ranging from the high school level to the professional sports level. In the clinic, her interests lie in outpatient orthopedics where she excels in working with post-surgical patients, the treatment of the lower extremity, and the training and rehabilitation of athletes and the well elderly. She also enjoys working with neurologically-impaired patients and work conditioning patients.
Sheri places high value in serving her community. She is an active member of The City of Conway Rotary Club and serves monthly at The Shepherds Table, the local soup kitchen in Conway. She is also an active member of Christ United Methodist Church. In her leisure time, Sheri enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing golf, and playing with the apple of her eye, her yellow Labrador Ryder.
