Melissa Leathers, PTA
Originally from Mt. Vernon, Illinois, Melissa has lived in the Grand Strand area since 1995. She worked as a dental hygienist for ten years. Because she desired a more interactive approach to patient care, she returned to Horry Georgetown Technical College, where she received a degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
She enjoys her new profession and loves the hands on experience she now has when working with her patients. Melissa has two sons that she enjoys spending time with and that keep her very busy.
