Barb Peterson, MS, CCC-SLP
Barb received her Bachelor's and Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Wisconsin. Barb holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence and is certified by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association and licensed to practice by the state of South Carolina. She is also certified in the Lee Silverman Voice Treatment Program (LSVT), a voice treatment program from individuals with Parkinson's Disease.
Prior to moving to Myrtle Beach, Barb was on the faculty at the University of Georgia where she worked as a Clinical Supervisor in the Speech and Hearing Clinic. She has also worked in Home Health care and in the public schools.
Outside of work, Barb enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, gardening, and reading.
